Will we need to switch providers?
Not necessarily. Part of the investigation and reporting process includes pricing out competitors, but we are reliably able to find savings simply by re-negotiating prices with your current provider. Most of our customer stay with their original provider.
How much can we save?
Our experience with telecom providers is that most companies are paying for services they don’t need, are not taking advantage of discounted rates, and often don’t understand some of the charges on their bills. On average, we are able to find about 30% savings, and the more services you have, the more potential savings are available. For example, we helped a small company with two phone lines and an internet connection save $75.00 per month, which translates to $900.00 per year.
Why can’t I do this myself?
You absolutely can! We don’t have any special deals set up with the telecom companies where we receive better deals than anyone else. HOWEVER, we have over 15 year of experience in the telecom market, and understand the available services, as well as each company’s pricing structure and mark-ups. We also have a deep understanding of the technology, and may be able to suggest effective and inexpensive technological solutions for your business.
In our experience, business owners and managers are busy running their business, and simply haven’t had time to spend listening to hold music trying to understand their MTS or Shaw bill, not to mention researching current promotions, contract pricing, and available services.
Does Costwise receive benefits from the service providers?
When CostWise Business Consulting first started, we didn't take any commission from any provider. However, we've found we are able to help our customer obtain even greater savings when we partner with service providers. Additionally, we are able to provide a higher level of support as partners are able to reach out to people normally not accessible by the average business owner. We made the final decision to take compensation from service providers when we realized we've basically been offered the same compensation from all the businesses we were working with.
Do you work hourly?
I want to ensure that every customer has a positive experience. Charging hourly only ensures I get paid regardless of the outcome. However, there are some situation where a business has asked us to look at a phone system quote to see if it’s reasonable or provide other assistance where there was no option but to charge hourly.
